TREND FORECASTING

Reca Mainetti uses a design-led approach to create beautiful accessories and solve branding challenges. Our trend forecasting and global design teams are informed by extensive research into fashion and lifestyle trends. We translate those trends in our Seasonal Collections that inspire designers from the leading fashion houses around the world. By aligning our latest innovations with seasonal trends, we deliver relevant products that are adaptable by clients that want to become more sustainable and trend-forward.

CREATIVE SERVICES

With over six decades of design and engineering expertise, Mainetti interprets the trends, and designs customized branding and packaging solutions for its clients. We identify opportunities for our retail and brand partners to become more sustainable, to tell their story and showcase their products to potential customers. With on the ground support in six continents, including creative talent in major design centers around the world, Mainetti helps create end-to-end retail presentations and memorable brand experiences.

PRODUCT DESIGN

Our product design team is passionate about innovating for customers. We create custom hangers, bags, boxes, labels, and tags that are not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. We work closely with leading retailers and brands to develop innovative products that meet the needs of tomorrow. Every year we develop products from more sustainable materials and more renewable energy than the year before. Our designers, technicians, and engineers collaborate with experts in the field to ensure that our customized products meet the highest testing standards. Whenever possible, Mainetti designs its products for use in a circular economy.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and we are committed to using the most sustainable materials possible in all of our businesses. Our products are made from a variety of recycled and eco-friendly materials, including organic cottons, recycled polyester, and FSC-certified paper. We provide our clients with the latest innovations in sustainable plastic films and hangers that are ideal for use in a closed loop operation. Whenever possible, Mainetti incorporates sustainable materials that allow our products to be used in a circular model.

CIRCULAR PROCESSES

When we say that we are pioneers in the global circular economy, we mean it. For the last forty years, Mainetti has been perfecting a circular business model for our largest business unit that we call Hangerloop. Recently we introduced Mainetti Polyloop, our flexible packaging reuse/recycling solution that addresses the challenge of single use plastics for apparel transit films. As Members of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, we work with innovators from many of the world’s leading companies to help the global economy to evolve from a linear model to a circular model for plastics.
